I love being outside! I currently live in Fairbanks, Alaska with my partner (Andy) and our dog (Hadley). We love to travel, backpack, bike, raft, climb, hike, backcountry ski/snowboard, and take road trips throughout this incredible state.

When we moved here two years ago, I was surprised at the lack of information, beta, and outdoor resources available online. As someone who loves to plan, I see this as a huge barrier for people trying to enjoy the outdoors. I like to write, and Andy likes to take photos, so between the two of us, a blog was in order.
